Welcome to Phoenix Flying

Phoenix Flying is a registered flight training facility based in Sussex, operating out of a number of airfields and airstrips along the South Coast of England. Set up by Stuart and Gaynor McKinnon in 1999, Phoenix Flying offers a range of flight training, from the Private Pilots Licence to Vintage, Warbird, Complex type conversion courses and advanced Aerobatics and Formation flying, in either club aircraft or your own aircraft where appropriate.

Owner and Chief Flying Instructor Stuart McKinnon has been specializing in Vintage, Tailwheel and Aerobatic flight training since 1996, and has training experience in over 80 different aircraft types, many of them rare classic aircraft.
